Objective: To investigate the intake of iron, tannin, phytate, oxalate, worm infection and complain consumption Fe tablet. Method: A case control study was administered with the number of sample taken as a of sampling calculation (α = 0.05) power used 95%, proportion P1= 40%, OR = 1.5. Case were elementary pregnant women having anemia with Hb level under 11mg/dl (n=145), and control were those whose Hb level ≥ 11 mg/dl (n=149). The following variables were collected : Hb level, intake tannin, phytate, oxalate, energy, Fe tablet and worm infection. Data were analyzed using multivariate regression logistic. Result: Anemia prevalence among pregnant women was 63.5%. The risk factors were as follows: intake Fe tablet (OR=7.794; CI 95%=1.007-89.890), worm infection (OR=7.71;CI95%=1.106-76.360), intake tannin (OR=4.13;CI95%=0.059-66.378). Risk to experience problems in anemia, with their pregnant women of lower complain consumption Fe tablet, than ≥ 90 tablet was 22.1%. Conclusion: The study fond that risk factors for anemia in Magelang regency are low intake iron, high intake inhibitors and high worm infection. Anemia control should the be focused an complain Tablet Fe consumption and behavior sanitation. ER -
